We now have an intraoral camera with a fluoresence imaging light, called Soprolife, that helps us actually see active decay in teeth in a red hue. The colors of this special light show green and blue for normal and healthy tooth structure. This is a wonderful partnership to our digital xrays. We have used intraoral cameras for years to capture color images of teeth and tissues that help give you a better idea about what we are seeing in your mouth, but this takes it one step further. We will be happy to show you how it works at your next visit.
